Just a couple of weeks ago, when I was talking about Qi with my daughters, they didn’t think I was serious. Well, yes, I am guilty of always making jokes about Qi / Ki – I am turned-off by how it is marketed and the ‘myth’ surrounding it. LHBF is regarded as an internal martial arts and so to some extent, whether you believe it or not, there is ‘Qi’ embedded in what we do and how we train.
Yes, I do believe that effective use of body and mind create some incredible effects for health or martial purposes. In fact, I do teach, explain and demonstrate its use without requiring participants 10 years of secretive practices. Here is my previous article on Qi.
